Engineering Management Institute An Engineer that will be remembered for far more than engineering â€" and a few lessons she left for us. no means gave the impression to be careworn in any respect. I don’t know how she did it, and unfortunately we might never know. There is no excuse not to live like Suzy… Because my wife and I hadn’t spoken to Suzy in a little over a yr, we didn’t even know she had cancer. This made the announcement of her passing much more of a shock to us. In some ways, I wish we'd have known and in some ways, I am glad we didn’t. What I can say to you although after these previous few weeks of studying Suzy’s weblog about her battle with cancer and attending her funeral service is: stay like Suzy. I haven’t quite found out her equation yet for dwelling such a full life (I know she had an equation â€" she’s an engineer), however up to now that is what I can share with you: Suzy was just like the little engine that could â€" and she or he did! I will always bear in mind Suzy and proceed to study from her as time goes on, and I will share with you what I study. Suzy’s legacy is just too nice to ever forget about her and I hope I can work out ways to unfold her inspiration to as many individuals as possible. Think about when the time comes on your own fun eral service. Will the room be packed to capacity â€" why or why not? Just some food for thought…. No matter what you do, live like Suzy every single day. Suzy â€" I want we'd have gotten the possibility to speak yet one more time, laugh yet one more time, hug another time, but regardless, we all know you'll all the time be right here with us.
